Note biographique

After finishing his education at Concordia University in Montreal and a short-lived Junior A career with Sherbrooke in the Quebec junior hockey league, he moved to Sarnia Ontario in 1986 and starting working in the field of petrochemical public relations. He played a key role in developing and implementing environmental public education and awareness programs for the Lambton Industrial Society; known across Canada today as the Sarnia-Lambton Environmental Association or S-L-E-A, a co-operative of 18 refiners and chemical plants. In April of 2000 Ken accepted the position of Communications Manager with Laidlaw Environmental Services’ Lambton Hazardous Waste Management Facility which operated a liquid waste incinerator and secure chemical landfill in Lambton County.  Ken was responsible for regional public and government affairs and managed community liaison committees during two environmental assessments for site expansion. In 2003, the facility was purchased by Clean Harbors Environmental Services, based in Boston.

In October, 2008, company downsizing forced Ken to stride in a new direction and he started his own company Ken Hall Design and Communications which he operated until joining Enbridge Pipelines Inc. in August 2010.

Since then, Ken has been Senior Advisor of Community and Public Relations with Enbridge based in Sarnia, Ontario. He is responsible for building and maintaining relationships with officials in the municipalities along the Line 9 pipeline right-of-way. He travels extensively along the Highway 401 corridor meeting with officials and sharing information on Enbridge projects, community partnerships and the company’s social responsibility commitments to our landowners, neighbours and host communities. Since mid-2011, Ken has met with over sixty communities to share information on the Line 9B Reversal and Line 9 Capacity Expansion Project.
